Azheimer’s Disease is mostly (90%) NOT genetic, but a result of our diet, lifestyle, age, etc.

Research studies have shown that there is a strong correlation between low levels of circulating Omega 3s in our bodies and the risk of Alzheimer’s onset.  The studies suggest that the primary cause of Alzheimer’s is not genetics, but diet.

The reason that we have low levels of Omega 3 is most likely related to our diet.  We tend to eat fatty foods that are high in Omega 6. Omega 6 is pro-inflammatory, while Omega 3 is anti-inflammatory.  Having significantly higher levels of Omega 6 than Omega 3 sets up a more pro-inflammatory environment which may lead to many health conditions.
 

Not all Omega 3 Vitamins are the Same

 

The main active component of our Omega 3 is DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).  The more DHA a product contains the more preventive benefits the product delivers.*
