Description
OMEDHA™ (docosahexaenoic acid) 1200mg is a dietary supplement manufactured for doctor’s and therapist’s practices and small group practices, to support partners and providers with an integrative solution for lowering their patient's high triglyceride levels.*
OMEDHA™ (docosahexaenoic acid) 1200mg is an innovative plasma sufficiency therapy. OMEDHA™ gives an option instead of fish oil formulations. OMEDHA™ gives the benefits of fish oil, but OMEDHA™is derived from plant based algae oil. Algae are the producers of OMEDHA™. OMEDHA™ is made using 100% certified self-contained processes for culturing and harnessing the golden oil (cGMP). OMEDHA™ is encapsulated in pure algae carrageenan softgels (cGMP) for use in clinical therapy programs to help lower high triglyceride levels by up to 26% when dosages are above 1 gram docosahexaenoic acid per day. Background
Docosahexaenoic acid is naturally found in human breast milk and is in every cell of the body. Certain tissues are rich in this structural and functional lipid. Studies have shown that docosahexaenoic acid provides cognitive and visual acuity benefits for the developing fetus and for aging adult’s supports a healthy brain, eyes and heart.
In addition, subjects taking algae oil omega-3 DHA daily had significant improvements in plasma lipids observed across 16 clinical studies and supported by two reviews, one by Source-Omega Founder and one by Martek Biosciences Corporation researchers [1,2].
